Frequently Asked Questions
A virtual assistant can be many things! We can do your administrative tasks, implement strategies, bookkeeping and marketing, etc. You name it and I could find a VA who specialises in it. As our industry is incredibly diverse, each VA tends to specialise in a very specific area. So, when you take on a VA you can be assured that you are getting some of the best of the best people supporting you!
As for me, I specialise in building customer relationships. I have worked in the medical industry as a receptionist for over 8 years and have answered phone, SMS and email enquires, managed practitioner booking calendars and managed health billings and payments. Those skills can be transferable to many different types of industries (so if you are not in the medical industry, please still enquire as I love to work with many different types of people), but building customer relationships is a difficult skill to master and that is my speciality!
As your virtual assistant you can be assured that your client enquiries are managed professionally and with care and your systems will run smoothly.
Both options have their benefits, so it depends where help is needed! An employee is perfect if you want someone to work at your business during set hours. If this isn't a prerequisite, a VA can help! On average employers spend 1.25-1.4 x their workers salary on employee expenses. When you subcontract a VA there are no extra costs like superannuation, WorkCover and equipment expenses, saving you a lot of money!
The best answer I can give is, it depends! Not all businesses are the same and not everyone's needs are either. Pricing is determined by how many services you require and how large your business is. Once we have had an initial discovery call, I will send a service quote to you with a breakdown of the costs.
After the discovery call I will send you a breakdown of my service fees based on your business' needs. Once you give the thumbs up, we will set up a 1-2 hour training session. This is where you can show me how you like your processes done, what your services/ products are and get access to the software you would like me to use. If you require reception services, we will set up your phone line and test it. Afterwards, I will develop a portfolio of how you run your business which you will look through and approve or edit. It is critical I get as much information from you as possible so I do not have to keep bothering you with questions later on! Once this is approved I will get to work!
